Welcome... and greetings as you enter the Wilmington Christian School website. Thank you for your interest in our school and for taking the time to “browse” through our profile and picture of this very special place.

Our school verse and motto that forms our homepage, taken from Psalm 1:3 states it best. It says that a student is “like a tree planted by living waters, yielding its fruit in season”.
We view the education of the next generation as crucial in both planting the Word of God in their hearts & minds, and then planting them in the culture, firmly rooted in the faith and growing in their influence upon that culture for Christ. C.S. Lewis reinforces this concept when he stated, “The task of modern educators is not to cut down jungles but to irrigate deserts”. We view our responsibility and ministry to irrigate the hearts, souls, minds, and strengths of young people so that their God-given gifts can be developed and enriched for service in the kingdom of God . . . wherever our Lord takes them.

As you visit, I trust you will capture a perspective of all that we offer and seek to accomplish. Whether you are parents seeking an educational home for your children, grandparents looking for information to pass on, prospective employees on a quest for a place to minister in a Christian setting, or perhaps a person searching for a place to invest in the kingdom . . . I can think of no greater place  to consider than Wilmington Christian School!

So take a look, ponder the photos, meditate on the message, and wander through the website with the goal of coming by for a visit, a tour, and some good conversation. You may leave your time with us wondering . . . “Why didn’t I look at Wilmington Christian School before?”

... I am just glad you did now!

Hope to see you soon,
