PSAT/NMSQT 2012

PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It’s a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Reasoning Test and gives you a chance to qualify for National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s scholarship programs.

The PSAT will be given to all 10^th and 11^th grade students on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Practice materials will be sent home with your student in September.

Your scores will be given to you and/or your student at our Mandatory test give back session by Kaplan on January 8th at 7:00pm.

SAT Dates 2012/2013

Students need to make note of the following test dates. (WCS is not a testing site for the SAT). You may register online at collegeboard.com.  Our school code is 080213.

Prices:  SAT $50 and SAT Subject Test $12 per subject, Language with Listening $23.

ACT

The ACT is often a good choice for those students who are poor test takers for those who have taken challenging curriculum.  To read or sign up for the ACT go to actstudent.org Our school code is 080213
