Disney’s High School Musical – On Stage!

Congratulations to Barbara Schiller, Fine Arts Director, and rest of the cast, crew, production and parent support team for four successful performances of Disney’s High School Musical On Stage!

• High School Musical boasts the largest cast ever (55+ students)
• Highest ever advanced tickets sales.  All reserved seating SOLD OUT 10 days before opening night
• Highest business/parent advertising revenue of any prior production
• Largest number of new students experiencing their first time on stage
• Largest parent support and production team with behind-the-scenes support
• High School Musical marks the first time students will receive course credit for their participation–this will continue for all future WCS Productions

Twelve WCS students have been accepted into the following Delaware Music Educators Association All-State ensembles:

• All-State Senior Chorus:  Hannah Glavin, Amy Schultz and Claire Webster; All-State Junior Chorus:  Katie Barton, Erin Harkey and Rebecca Malone;
• All-State Senior Band: Yanni Kaliakin and Kathryn Whitesel (Principal Flute);
• All-State Junior Band: Danny Hutton and Peter Potecha;
• All-State Junior Jazz Band:  Peter Potecha;
• All-State Orchestra: Annalee Althouse, Emily Patten and Kathryn Whitesel(Principal Flute).
