The Third Annual Dinner Auction 2017

The Third Annual Dinner auction was held on Saturday, March 25, 2017.

Auctioneer John McMurry and assistant Steve Stephens hosted an entertaining live auction.  A variety of items provided by local businesses and our WCS families filled the silent auction tables. Treasures from spa visits, jewelry, paintings, event tickets, wreaths, and flower arrangements were just some of the items on display. There was something for everyone!  Those that came for the meal were not disappointed and enjoyed the dinner and beautiful cake provided by Kakes by Kim while listening to the live music in the background.

Guest speaker at the event, Nicole Theis, President and founder of DE Family Policy Council shared the importance of Christian education. She brought many resources and handouts for parents to stay informed and active in their choice for Christian Education. Mel Fetterman had the privilege to introduce high school students Danny Hamm (11th), Christian Reilly (11th), and Tori Drumheller (12th) who spoke about their experience at WCS and the impact the school and our teachers have had in their lives – the highlight of the evening.
The event was a huge success.
A special thank you goes to…
Auction Chair Kristen Santillo for creating the beautiful atmosphere for the event and handling many of the behind the scenes details.
