WCS prepares students well for undergraduate study after high school. Therefore, we adhere to graduation requirements that go beyond those mandated by the state and the minimum standards required by most colleges. To qualify for graduation, students must follow the credit requirements as approved by the Board of Directors.
WCS requires 22 1⁄4 high school credits to graduate. Each credit represents 36 weeks of work under the supervision of a teacher. Typically this includes: English (4), Social Studies (3), Mathematics (3), Science (3), Bible (2), Foreign Language (3), Electives (4), and Volunteer Service Program (1⁄4 = 40 hours). |
