Linda Schwind

Nomination for Election — Three-Year Term

Linda has multiple connections with WCS.  She is a WCS alumnus, as are her two daughters, Lindsay and Jenna (now a WCS faculty member) who graduated in 2000 and 2002, respectively. Linda attended WCS from 1st through 8th grade and was a member of both the first 7th and first 8th grade classes.  Her mother was also a WCS Board member when she was in elementary school.  To continue the “family ties” to WCS, Linda will soon have at least one grandchild in pre-K.

Linda is the Executive Director of Gilpin Hall, a non-profit organization in Wilmington providing long term nursing care, assisted care and an adult day program.  As an executive for a non-profit corporation, she has gained extensive experience in areas such as planning, program development, policy/procedure writing and implementation, budgeting, human resources and fund raising.


Linda resides in Avondale, PA and worships at Brandywine Valley Baptist Church in Wilmington.

David Tideman

Nomination for Re-Election — Three-Year Term

Dave joined the Board in 2005; he serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees and heads the Board Nominations Committee. Dave is Corporate Law Counsel for State Farm Insurance in Chadds Ford, PA. He also serves on the President’s Advisory Board at his alma mater, Houghton College (NY).

Dave, his wife Linnea and family (two graduates of WCS and one in the High School) live in Landenberg, PA. They worship at Willowdale Chapel in Kennett Square, PA.

The WCS Board of Trustees nominates David Tideman for re-election to a three-year term.

Mark Wagner

Nomination for Re-Election — Three-Year Term

Mark joined the Board in 2008;  he serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mark and his wife Christine have two daughters, one currently in the High School and the other a WCS graduate. They attend and are very active at Willowdale Chapel in Kennett Square, PA.

Mark currently serves as a Global Corporate Sales Director and Director of Corporate Marketing and Sales for the DuPont Company. Mark graduated from the University of Michigan and holds degrees in Chemistry and an MBA.


The WCS Board of Trustees nominates Mark Wagner for re-election to a three-year term.
